Works so far...

I've had this unit running for about two weeks and haven't had any problems with it.You can defiantly hear it run, unlike my full size Frig/Freezer. I wouldn't say it's overly loud or anything just something I've noticed.Also the door swings the opposite way than I think it should but that is just my opinion.The manual specifically says that this unit is not for placing under a counter or in any sort of enclosure.The middle temp setting cools to 0F so that is good.The compressor hangs out of the back bottom of the unit about an inch so the smooth back statement is somewhat misleading.In all I'd buy another one if this one doesn't break....Energy Star Label reads 321kWh's a year or $34. Similar models graph shows a range between $29 and $35, (Label is based on 2007 data)

Love this Freezer!

I have had this for some time now with out any problems! Holds more than you think and have not really noticed any difference on my electric bill. It is a very good buy!

Great Freezer for under counter

I have had this freezer for about 2 years now and its been great. There is a surprising amount of storage for such a small freezer. Whole hams and turkeys fit in easily. I chose this model when we re-modeled our kitchen for under counter use. This model is NOT for completely sealed under counter use. We left one side open and use it for our recycle bins so the freezer gets air circulation. It sure beats paying over $1000 for a built in unit. At this price its cheaper to do an under counter freezer than it is to put in a set of sliding cabinets!
