Great Portable Dishwasher

We got this dishwasher for our 5th wheel camper, I was sick of washing dishes by hand. I picked this one primarily because I trusted the Whirlpool name.It is a portable dishwasher which means that it is not built-in the cabinets but can be used by anyone that has a sink, even if you don't have the cabinet space. We keep ours to the side, out of the way and then roll it to the sink when we need it. Hook-up is very simple and hassle free, I do it myself, no need for hubby. Plug it into a regular outlet. Take the hoses and hook up to the sink faucet and you're ready to wash some dishes. The hose just pops right on. It's easy, really.What I really like about this dishwasher is the tub is extra tall. I can fit my tallest stock pot on the bottom and can fit a Sonic route 44 cup in the top rack. Those are my tallest items that I have and they both fit. Also it's extremely quiet, it doesn't bother us at all when it's running. The loudest thing is that when it drains, it drains right into the sink, sometimes I forget about it running and it will startle me when I hear the water pouring in the sink.The machine is fully enclosed, all sides are black metal. The top is a butcher-block counter top. It's a very attractive unit. And for us, in a camper, it added extra counter space for us too which is always a plus.I have an old Whirlpool washer in my house and the washing is about the same, which I think is probably an average rating on washing. The unit is very heavy, if you are thinking about for a camper, make sure it's not a problem pulling the extra weight. For anyone else, it rolls very easily and is easy to move around. Would make a great extra washer too if you want an extra dishwasher for the holidays, etc. All you need is a sink and an electrical outlet.Update: I've had this machine for over a year now and it's still working great with no problems. A couple times I had a little bit of an odor from the machine. I started disconnecting the water from the faucet after a wash cycle was complete (but leave the drain hose still in the sink)and then hitting the drain/cancel button - a little more water comes out. I also then take the drain hose out of the sink and with a cup make sure all the water is out of the drain line. I just wiggle the drain line around at floor level and get a little more water in the cup. I haven't had any odors anymore. I also spray a little bit of cleaner or diluted bleach around the seal inside from time to time to make sure the machine is clean. Hope that helps.
