broke within 1 year on first self-clean

None of the oven elements will heat up, since we self-cleaned the oven 2 days ago for the first time (we've kept it clean). It tries to preheat, but after a while an error code is shown, and the oven is still room temperature.We purchased it from Home Depot. The warranty says 1 year from date of purchase (which was mid-March 2011), but it wasn't delivered by our local Home Depot until May 25, so it ought to be (but isn't) covered by the warranty. Home Depot and other stores should start the warranties at the date of delivery.Before, for convection bake, a sheet of cookies cooked unevenly, possibly because the fan didn't circulate all of the oven's air. So one end of the sheet could have perfect cookies, but the other end would have slightly darker, slightly burnt cookies. There was a big improvement with its convection compared to conventional bake, but I'd say its convection wasn't very good.I would have reduced the oven's rating by a star because of the convection bake quality, but that's nothing compared to an oven that won't even last one self-clean or last one year after delivery. I expect an expensive oven like this to work at least 5 years without repairs. Overall, it was an okay/nice oven prior to breaking.

It's a great oven, but the alarm isn't loud enough to be heard throughout the house. Guests like the controls and everyone thinks it's quite nice.
