Not good for warm climates

I do not recommend this model for locations in warmer climates. We purchased a home in Dallas TX with this model in the kitchen, and it burned out in less than a year. The normal tap water temperature in the summer (over 75 degrees) is too warm for this unit to make ice without burning out the compressor (it runs constantly). Go for a model with a higher ice making capacity.
