We ordered both the power pack exhaust fan unit and the liner and we received it within a week. The items were packaged safely and because we were able to view the specifications on line we were able to custom build our wooden hood unit prior to receiving these items. broan range hood and pm390

This range hood is of good quality and exactly as described. However, when the PM390 hood insert is installed in the range hood, the controls on the pm390 are not in a convenient place, given that the controls are about 7 inches behind and 4" above the front of the insert. This seems to be a design flaw, in that you should be able to move the light and fan controls to a place that is easily accessable by the user. I cant believe that they didn't consider this problem -- it's too obvious.
