Both burners can get really hot, really fast!

I've used lots of different double burner ranges, and I've always found that only one burner is ever capable of getting really hot, while the other burner is only good for simmering. With the Delfino, both burners are capable of getting super-hot.Infrared is similar to induction in that it heats up very quickly, is energy-efficient and allows for precise temperature control. The key difference as far as I'm concerned is that, unlike induction which only works with magnetic pots, any kind of cookware works with infrared. Also, induction cooktops are far more expensive.I really like the fact that the two burners are the same size; this means I can use a 10" skillet on one burner at the same time as a large pot on the other. Using smaller pots isn't a problem; the smallest one I have is only 5.5" in diameter but the handle didn't even get hot when I used the pot to bring water to boil.I wavered about subtracting a star for the build quality. One of the feet came off when I unboxed the cooking range, but I was able to screw it back on. I then gave the cooktop a good wipe with a damp papertowel before using it for the first time because there's a bit of offgassing when it's first switched on. I just opened the windows and it didn't take long for the smell to dissipate.After trying all the settings and putting the cooktop through its paces, I'm very impressed. Being able to cook at high heat on both burners is a big deal, since this is the only stove I have. Another thing I'm really pleased about is that the bottom of the range doesn't get hot, so there's no danger of harming the kitchen countertop.

We just received & tested this heater. It's light weight, elegant & meets the description of the item.Its total output is 1800 watts. So, divided between 2 equal heaters (900 each) it suits normal cooking needs. Its too soon to comment on the durability. Recommended all the same.

This cooking range is more like a toy than a real product!

I bought it for the hope of having a back up Ranger! Unfortunately I couldn't get to use it more than one time. The first time I used only one ranger,and I was happy .the second time I needed to use both side ranger but after few minuets the glass part of itbursted / cracked . I think it has only a good looking design with NO quality! I do not recommend this little expensive Toy at all!
