Got donut shaped pots and pans?

Looks great, installs easy, but not happy about the quality control out of the factory. The problem I have is that the dual-element burner (the one on the top right of the cooktop) appears to be wired incorrectly. When I turn that burner on, then instead of the inner element lighting/heating up (for say a small pot), the outside element actually lights up. It leaves the inner small element off. What possible use would that be? Unless of couse you have ring/donut shaped pots with big holes in the center? Pressing the power button a second time for that burner works, in that both inner and outer elements power on. Not impressed that an issue like this wasn't caught at the factory. By the way, I've had the cooktop two weeks, and now waiting on a service repair.
