Quit working after 1st use

I've had a counter-top icemaker before, but it went out after 18 months. I replaced it with this model, which quit making ice after ONE USE. I'm sending it back for a replacement, and certainly hope the replacement is better than this one. If not, it's back to buying bagged ice for me. *ugh*

Works perfectly!

This was bought by a co-worker, we use it at work... the thing gets used day in and day out by everyone at work, it never fails us. Its quite the little workhorse and seems to be very well built and sturdy. We have had this in our workshop now for about 3 months and no problems. It makes ice fast too! About 15 minutes I would say. Great little unit and I can say we have had good experience with it - not sure about the other bad reviews I see here on Amazon.UPDATE: it finally gave out and died Feb 2012... lasted about 1 1/2 years with daily use by a few co-workers. It worked great up until it died. RIP

LOUD!!! Tempramental

This is very noisy and clunky. It is very tempramental and decides to stop working from time to time for no aparent reason. Wish I had not bought this unit.
